VM and MN

Twp quick things:

1. For some strange reason I did not get any voicemail message for many days and then all of the sudden I had an inbox full of messages. So, if you have called recently and left me a message, sorry I haven't called you back! I am gradually making my way through the list of people who called.

2. Am coming up to MN this weekend (I had set the weekend aside for the joint Couer D'Ennui and Nordskogen event, but sadly that has been canceled). If you are free and want to do something Saturday or Sunday let me know. I am thinking some gaming is in order and if I ask really nicely perhaps SCA dance practice can be bumped up to Sunday afternoon (please, Etienne).

I just may, although Etienne said he might have an extra. Looks like I will be headed out to Fest on Sunday.

As for dance, we had a pratice yesterday. So, unless we can find a site and assuming there is enough interest... Maybe we can find some musicians to play for us at Fest. ;-)

There's court dancing, open to the public, at 10:30 am (Spangoletta and possibly one other dance) and at 6:00 (queen'schoice. So far, she seems fond of "Hole in the Wall," "Petit Riens," a figured pavane, "Ballo di Fiore" and "Bare Necessities".

I think there are four actual dance troupes out there: a morris dance troupe, the maypole dancers, a "scottish dance" group, and Terpsichory.

The Terpsichory show has about nine or ten pieces. It ends with the ridiculously-fast-with-live-steel "Buffens."

Ben's birthday is Sunday... we would love to see you Saturday! Please keep us posted - I will check with Ben to see if we can host something at our place.

Oh, that would be great!!! And maybe Adeles... And maybe I could stay with you Saturday night? I was thinking of hitting the Ren Fair on Sunday, so I would be up and gone in the morning as not to interfere with Ben's birthday celebration.

Poor Gabriel...you deal with Shana Goldberg more than I have to now. Don't get me wrong I love Shana, I went to high school with her. I know I'm going to go to ren fest sometime soon, do you sing the same times Shana does?

I think staying with us on Saturday night will not be a problem. We are planning on going to the zoo during the day but we can probably resechedule that for a different day depending on when you are coming. We just want to see you *so* much, and if Ben has gaming opportunities, I'm certain he will choose that over going to the zoo (and it *is* his birthday weekend, after all!) We just got our wedding pics back, so we can bore you with those as well.

Adelle's should be quite possible as well.

Shall we talk soon? There is a small chance that I might not be able to make it this weekend, long story. But I will know by tonight whether or not that is true. Is it okay to talk and iron out plans tomorrow (Thursday?). You and Ben don't have to reschedule your zoo trip, there is plenty I can do during the day, no worries!

Okay, am 100% sure that I am coming. Do you and anyone else who would like to join us want to meet up for dinner on Saturday? If you are going to be at the zoo we can always meet somewhere in Eagan or thereabouts. Then, perhaps we can game somewhere Saturday night????
